Job Description

As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s people operations by ensuring efficient HR processes and a positive, well-organized work environment. You will contribute across the entire employee lifecycle — from attracting and onboarding top talent to supporting employee engagement and maintaining organized HR records. Beyond recruitment, you will handle core HR functions such as employee relations, policy implementation, and day-to-day coordination, while serving as a reliable point of contact for employee queries, concerns, suggestions, and celebrations of achievement. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to build solid HR expertise and gain well-rounded experience across both administrative and people-focused areas of human resources.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Draft job descriptions and post openings on relevant platforms.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn and other professional networks.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with potential candidates.
  • Prepare employment contracts and required onboarding documentation.
  • Manage the onboarding process by preparing materials and delivering presentations to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.
  • Help organize induction sessions and provide initial guidance on company policies and systems.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inqueries and concerns, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist in resolving minor conflicts and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support initiatives that promote employee well-being, motivation, and engagement.
  • Help organize internal events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by ensuring employees feel heard and supported.

HR Administration & Record Keeping

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal details, attendance, and leave balances.
  • Track probation periods, promotions, and other key employee milestones.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
  • Coordinate with team leads to prepare, post, and manage the weekly team schedules.
  • Oversee the company’s intranet, ensuring HR-related content, announcements, and resources are kept accurate and up to date.

Performance Management and Development

  • Assist in coordinating performance review processes, including collecting feedback and tracking employee goals.
  • Maintain records of performance appraisals and development plans.
  • Support managers in identifying training needs or skill gaps.
  • Gain exposure to employee development initiatives and talent planning.

Policy Implementation & Compliance

  • Communicate company policies to employees and ensure they are followed in day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain awareness of local labor regulations and assist management as needed.
  • Track policy acknowledgments, ensuring employees have reviewed and signed updated policies.
  • Support company culture by turning policies into practical actions that reflect our values.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM).
  • 0–2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Basic understanding of HR best practices and processes.
  • Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, approachable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information.
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR is a plus.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
