Job Description
Summary of the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record journal entries.
- Handle and book suppliers' and clients' invoices.
- Process and book bank transactions on a weekly basis.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for suppliers, clients, and intercompany accounts.
- Conduct weekly bank and cash reconciliations.
- Calculate and post monthly asset depreciation.
- Process accruals and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing schedules.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in SAP is mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
