Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for the testing in order to ensure developed applications meets required standards
  • Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group policies and procedures

Duties & Responsibilities:

On Quality Control

  • Test the software product to make sure all deliverables are done as per set requirements
  • Validate all business rules and functionalities to confirm that the application's process and features are well developed and working with no issues/bugs
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation regression testing based on the application Test Cases
  • Report bugs and encountered errors to the development team (All issues should be logged under the designated reporting tool with all needed details, explanation, and steps; allowing the developer to understand easily how to reproduce and fix the error)
  • Suggest enhancements to the current developed applications and modules in order to make improvements and achieve a better business process

On Documentation

  • Create test cases and checklists for all MaliaTec applications, considering any expected and possible scenarios
  • Update requirements book and specifications according to the new changes and requests

On Software Team Support

  • Support the development team when needed; by clarifying and explaining the scenarios related to the reported bug or to the new application(s) or module(s)

Job Qualifications

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science - CCE - MIS

Experience:

  • Up to 2 years of previous related experience
