Job Description
Role Objective:
Drive the creation of innovative furniture designs, collections, and finishes that position FEP as a leader in style, functionality, and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and develop new furniture models and complete collections that resonate with current market trends.
- Explore and experiment with modern materials, finishes, and design techniques to inspire innovation.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and durable.
- Refine and optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency without compromising aesthetics or quality.
- Contribute to showroom presentations, supporting product launches with fresh ideas and engaging concepts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure FEP remains at the forefront of furniture design.
Job Qualifications
Requirements:
- Degree or professional experience in product design, furniture design, or furniture engineering.
- Strong knowledge of the furniture industry, including materials, processes, and production techniques.
- Highly creative, with the ability to translate imaginative ideas into practical, manufacturable products.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work across design, production, and marketing teams.
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
