Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- Structural Design & Engineering Analysis
- Develop structural concepts in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Perform technical and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
- Conduct structural calculations and load analysis.
- Use structural calculation software and AutoCAD to prepare detailed designs.
- Assess structural sustainability and environmental considerations.
2- BOQ & Technical Documentation
- Prepare and submit structural BOQs including job specifications and material schedules.
- Review and validate shop drawings for compliance with design intent.
- Log structural modifications and maintain as-built documentation.
- Complete required quality assurance documentation.
3- Cross-Disciplinary Coordination
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural and MEP teams.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and technical consultants.
- Resolve structural design conflicts by proposing alternative solutions.
- Support procurement processes related to structural materials and equipment.
4- Site & Construction Support
- Provide structural clarification during execution phases.
- Ensure structural works comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Support smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Monitor field changes and integrate structural adjustments accordingly.
5- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure structural designs comply with legal and safety regulations.
- Follow ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- Adhere to company policies and documentation procedures.
6- Reporting & Accountability
- Submit structural designs and revisions for managerial approval.
- Report technical risks or constraints to the DDOM.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical & Professional Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of structural design experience.
- Practical knowledge of construction methods and structural systems.
- Proficiency in REVIT STRUCUTRE, AutoCAD and structural calculation software.
- Proficiency in steel structural design
