Assembly Technician

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to assemble and join components or materials according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency in production or construction processes while meeting daily production targets, maintaining zero-defect quality, reducing material waste, completing tasks within cycle time, and keeping the work area fully compliant with safety standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to accurately assemble components
• Operate hand and power tools to join materials according to production requirements
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures to ensure precise alignment and fit
• Work on assembly line equipment to maintain efficient production flow
• Conduct quality inspections using inspection tools to ensure zero-defect joins
• Meet daily production targets consistently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Reduce material waste by handling components carefully and optimizing usage
• Complete all assigned tasks within designated cycle times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and 100% safety-compliant work area
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes
• Apply problem-solving skills to address assembly challenges promptly
• Manage time effectively to balance speed and quality across multiple tasks
